Acupressure works by applying pressure on particular points on the body to release qi. Applications of pressure require precision as around 365 points are located on the major channels. In addition, there are over 650 individual pressure points that help you enhance the quality of your life.

Acupressure is an alternative healing modality by traditional Chinese medicine and also promoted by Ayurveda. Here are some highlights of acupressure.

    • It’s a form of touch therapy that uses the ideologies of acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
    • In this treatment, physical pressure is applied to specific points with the aim of clearing blockages.
    • It is based on the concept of life energy that flows through the meridian in the body.
    • It works on your body when you find a block in its daily function or your certain bodily processes go off track.
    • It also relaxes the muscles and sustains improvement within minimum recurrence of the symptoms.
    • It corrects the functional imbalances and restores the flow, thus returning the body to a more natural state of well-being.
