Adam Whitney Savage, a producer, actor, and television personality, was a co-host of the Discovery Channel television program MythBusters and Unchained Reaction for a while with Jamie Hyneman.
The American special effects designer and manufacturer was born on the 15th of July 1967. Savage was one of six kids—the four eldest from his parents’ previous unions—and was the second youngest. He has one younger sister in addition to two older brothers and sisters.
Professional career
Adam Savage is gifted artistically, creatively, and intellectually. It’s safe to assume that some of that came from his father, Whitney Lee Savage, who worked as an animator on Sesame Street and for The Electric Company, a well-known children’s television program.
Savage claimed in a piece for AV Club that his father worked two to three months a year creating 30-second animated details for Sesame Street, while the rest of the time, “he’d do what he considered his real work: paint.”
Savage spends the most time on Adam Savage’s Tested platform, which has a website and a YouTube channel. His modeling work has been included in high-profile movies, including The Matrix Reloaded and Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
He hosted the Science Channel television program Savage Builds, which debuted on June 14, 2019. Since his appearance in January 2006, Adam Whitney has become a regular speaker at the magician James Randi’s “The Amazing” annual skeptics conference meeting.
